The
purpose of Friends of Culzean is to support the National Trust
for Scotland and help achieve their aims at Culzean:

Maximum access for all.

Preserve the property for generations to come.

Inform and educate people about the heritage of Scotland.
Once you
become a Friend of Culzean, to show our thanks we have a range
of very special events and offers for you to enjoy - turn over
for details.
Maintaining Culzean Castle and Country Park so it can be
enjoyed, not only now but for generations to come, costs a lot
of money.
You can
become a Friend in two ways. You make a donation of £3 or more
a month (£36 per year), and every penny of your donation goes
directly to supporting Culzean.
Alternatively, you can become a Culzean volunteer in a wide
range of activities from staffing the bookshop and driving the
electric bus to working in the Castle or grounds. To
volunteer, please contact John below.
As a Friend you will receive the following:
A
copy of the quarterly Culzean Newsletter
The Newsletter contains articles about all aspects of Culzean
and gives you an insight into the operation of the property
and the people who work there.
An invitation to a free event such as a visit to somewhere
special in the park like the caves
There are many areas of the Castle and grounds that are not
open to the public for reasons such as conservation, health
and safety, limited access. Friends will have an opportunity
to visit these areas. Also, tours of areas that are under
development.
Vouchers for free food in the restaurant and cafes
The vouchers will give you a free snack or meal - and yes, we
know you will enjoy them and come back for more!
An invitation to a unique charged event such as a cheese and
wine party in the Orangery
How would you like a relaxing evening Cheese and Wine party
served in the beautiful Orangery for only £7.50 per person.
Bring your friends and chat with other Friends! These events
are simple, but very special.
Invitations to extra events for Friends such as preview
discount evenings in the shops
We will be arranging special opportunities for Friends to do
their shopping, with discounts, special offers and
complimentary refreshments at special opening times.
